Cinquains-My Students' Writing 3

A cinquain is a five-line poem that describes a person, place ,

or thing.

Line 1: 1 noun that tells what you poem is about (its subject)

Line 2: 2 adjectives that describe your subject

Line 3: 3 action-ing words that describe something it does

Line 4: A phrase that describes something else about it

Line 5: 1 or 2 words that rename what your poem is about
