PCC Buriram: Academic English III- Autobiographical Talk Assignments

For Mattayom 6/1, 6/3, and 6/3 students:

    According to our class schedule, you have to hand in your first draft of your autobiography by this Friday (สุดๆอย่างช้า วันจันทร์หลังจากนั้นจะหักคะแนน by 4 p.m.). You can send it to my email : khattiyanant@yahoo.com. After you get my comments, you have to correct your work and send the 2nd draft, 3rd draft .. to me again ( It will continue like this until you can write the best version)

     พิมพ์ลงใน Microsoft Word ใช้ตัวอักษร Time New Roman 12 points ตั้ง paragraph เป็น double space และอย่าเว้นช่องว่างระหว่าง paragraph
     ส่งครั้งที่  1  พิมพ์  1st Draft  ที่มุมด้านขวา ( 2 = 2nd Draft และ 3 = 3rd Draft ตามลำดับ)
     การตั้งชื่อไฟล์ ให้พิมพ์ My Autobiography_ชื่อนักเรียน+ห้อง6.__+Nเลขที่ 
      For Example   -    My Autobiography_ Thitiporn6.5N04

สำหรับคนที่สะดวกเขียนมาส่ง สามารถมาส่งและรอรับงานได้เลย

ข้อแก้ไขในแผ่น My Autobiography Sample
- บรรทัดที่ 2 อาจารย์ พิมพ์  I come from a family of 6:  6 ให้แก้เป็น 5
- Paragraph สุดท้าย อาจารย์พิมพ์ชื่อ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น โดยเว้นคำผิด ที่ถูกจะต้องเป็น
  Khon Kaen University
- ชื่อ Nakhonratchasima ที่ถูกต้องแบบเป็นทางการคือ Nakhon Ratchasima
**ชื่อเฉพาะให้ ตรวจสอบการเขียนด้วยการ google

วิธีแก้จาก comment ที่อาจารย์ให้ไปใน Microsoft Word
1. ให้อ่าน comment ตามลำดับ และแก้ตาม code ที่ให้ (ดูจาก handout W01 Writing Correction Code)
     และ ตามคำแนะนำภาษาไทยที่เขียนให้ 
2. ถ้ามีคำถามอ่านคำถามดีๆ และลองแก้ดูเองก่อนอีกรอบ
3. เมื่อแก้ในแต่ละ comment เสร็จ ให้นักเรียน click ขวา ที่ comment และเลือก delete comment (เมื่อ delete comment ในหน้าจนหมด หน้ากระดาษจะกลับไปเหมือนปกติ)

For next week, 9-13 Nov 2015
1. You have to finish your final draft by Tuesday (4 p.m.)
2. You have to read aloud your autobiography script; you can do it via Skype if you want (please make an appointment with me via my email: khattiyanant@yahoo.com
3. After you read aloud your script you have to recite (ท่อง) the following introduction and conclusion of your autobiographical talk และก็สอบท่อง (You can do this via Skype as well.) :

            Introduction

Good morning Dr. Khattiyanant and everybody/ everyone. I’m pleased to introduce myself today. I’ll try to be brief so that I won’t bore you. I’ll take about 3 minutes of your time to talk about my family, my education, and my plans for the future. If you have any questions, you can contact me after class.

I hope I’ve given enough information about myself. Once again, it’s a pleasure to take this class with you. Thank you for your attention/ Thank you for your listening.

ตัวที่มี / ให้นักเรียนเลือกคำใดคำหนึ่ง

   

 (คำแนะนำ)  ถ้านักเรียนไม่มั่นใจในการจะออกเสียงคำไหน ให้นักเรียน google ด้วยคำศัพท์คำนัั้น ตามด้วยคำว่า pronunciation ตัวอย่างเช่น  ถ้าอยากเช็คการอ่านออกเสียงคำว่า pleasure ให้พิมพ์คำว่า    pleasure pronunciation หรือ how to pronounce pleasure

For 16-20 Nov 2015 , Autobiography Talk Test is only allowed in class.
If you can come to have an autobiographical talk, please come (you will have a chance of getting the full score of this assignment) If not, you have to arrange the time with me (your score will be deducted for not being on time)
